Health Office
School Health Services are provided to protect and improve the health of students. This helps them to grow, develop and benefit fully from everyday school experiences. Having good health is basic to student education as well as enhancing life skills. The promotion and improvement of health in our students is the foundation of school nursing. Former Surgeon General, Joyce Elders, said "You cannot educate a child who is not healthy and you cannot keep a child healthy who is not educated".
My goal is to help students understand the importance of learning about physical, emotional and social health and how their wellness in any of these three areas affects their body. Students will gradually become responsible for their own care, helping them grow into caring, responsible and productive young adults.
