Principal's Message

In “Making Their Lives Extraordinary” Califon staff and students have been very busy this year school year. The staff is working with the writing program which was initiated last school year. The students seem to enjoy the writing program as much as the staff does

A technology committee has completed the technology plan. We will be submitting it to the Board of Education for approval and then to the State Department of Education. We have kept in mind our budget constraints and have made modest suggestions for the next three years.

 The “Home and School” Committee has developed a mission statement, goals, and objectives.   The focus for the committee will be parental involvement, and as a result of our survey a volunteer program has been developed. The committee is now focused on getting the community out to vote for the school budget.

 Congratulations to the 8^th grade Destination Imagination Team for qualifying for Globals in Tennessee. We are all eager to get fundraising started to help our team get to Globals.
